CHA
Certified Horsemanship Association promotes excellence in safety and education for the benefit of the entire horse industry. This is accomplished by certifying instructors, accrediting equine facilities and publishing educational resources. Certified Instructors give lessons and help strengthen the horse/child relationship.

USPC
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. Riding Centers offer instruction in line with the Pony Club mission to teach children how to ride on the flat, over fences, and in the open. In addition to the Pony Club mounted meetings, Riding Centers also hold unmounted meetings where members learn about the care of horses.

DRA
Dude Ranchers Association offers families the original Western vacation. Our first ranchers introduced the unique beauty of the American West to “dudes” from all over. All this happened in the best way possible: from the back of a horse. This horseback adventure was surrounded by honest and real Western hospitality that these dude ranch pioneers considered a part of the code of the west.

Breyer
Everyone loves to have a Breyer horse. Also, Breyer Model Horses have fun events and shows throughout the year. Horse knowledge as well as your love of the horse make these special events even that much more fun! Check out these awesome model horse events to enhance your equestrian aspirations!

Extension
Practically every county in the United States has a positive youth development 4-H program. Most have very small membership fees and even have awesome 4-H horse projects that don’t require a horse to participate! Contact your county 4-H extension office to ask more about how to get involved in a horse program near your home.
